Berber culture
During WWW, we could see and discover the Berber dance, which was presented by some villagers. This dance consists of a large circle, shoulder to shoulder, men and women reproduce hands, feet and whole body movements and changes of pace. The dancers resonate in tune with songs and percussion, they are lulled by the throbbing intensity that multiplies by transmitting shoulder to shoulder. The instrument used are the bendir (large drums) and Gambra (a flute) accompanying songs and dances, and berber poetry which is rich and colorful. After, few students, join them. Almost everybody was dancing et having fun with them. All in all, the berber dancing represent an important part of the berber culture.

Introducing Myself
My name is Zainab Abiza. I live in the capital city of Morocco. I love my country, I was born here, live here and I study here. I am Muslim. I have been in several Moroccan schools before, but I ended up joining RAS. This is an exellent school with a very good reputation. We can find people of many different nationalities and religions. This is my first year in this international school. At the beginning, I really worried about leaving all my friends to go to a school where I know almost nobody, and I do not even mastering the English language. But now, I love this school. Like everyone in my age, I spend my time with my friends, on my computer ... and without forgetting to study. I try to have good grades, because I intend to finish my studies abroad. =)

Morocco

Since I was born I still live in morocco with my family. I’m very attached to my country and I like it. I think that morocco is different from other countries by Lot of thing Like his traditions, foods, clothes... For example during celebrations men and women wear moroccan traditional clothes, which are very beautiful. Usually there is delicious moroccan foods like couscous, tajine... or sometimes there is some moroccan sweets. The weather in Morocco is hot in summer, cold in winter and sometimes it’s snow in the mountains. In Morocco there is many beautiful landscapes, many places to go and many places to see like Chellah in rabat, Menara in Marrakech, the Riff Mountains. Even if I never live in another country, i think that there is a big difference in many things between Morocco and the other countries that I visit. Among these differences, the cleanliness of streets and cities in general. In other countries, peoples are very keen on cleanliness and do their best to keep their city clean. Anywhere you go, you’ll always find the bins, so that each one can throw his waste in the trash, instead of throw on the floor. Unlike in Morocco, it’s rare when there is garbage somewhere. While not finding the trash, the majority of people throw their waste on the ground, and gradually, the whole city becomes dirty. However, I think that’s not a reason to throw our waste on the ground if we didn’t find garbage, by cons, we could put it in our purse or pocket until we found a garbage. I think that the life in Morocco is great, but there is many things that need to change or develop.
